Paranormal Activity 4
Paranormal Activity 4 is one of those movies that if you’re a fan of the Paranormal series, you’ll more than likely be a fan of the latest entry.
To those who are not familiar, as the title gives away, there are four movies in the world of Paranormal Activity. Paranormal Activity 4 picks up from where Paranormal Activity 2 left off, since Paranormal Activity 3 is a prequel to Paranormal Activity 1. If it’s confusing to follow, the order of the movies is as followed: Paranormal Activity 3, Paranormal Activity 1, Paranormal Activity 2, and Paranormal Activity 4.
Paranormal Activity 4 starts off slow, and as the previews give away, the last 10 minutes are the best. The movie rarely has anything new to offer, nothing that the viewer hasn’t seen in the first three entries. You have your typical cliché door opening by itself, creepy little boy, invisible “demons,” various technological devices acting up, as well as having creepy neighbors. The one thing that Paranormal Activity 4 does offer that is somewhat new is that it now incorporates new technological features that the previous movies haven’t, such as webcams and motion sensors involving video game systems.
All in all, as mentioned, there really isn’t much to Paranormal Activity 4, only that the last ten minutes set up the inevitable fifth entry (which has already been confirmed).
Finishing Thought: If you’re a fan of the first three, you’ll be a fan of this one.
…That’s all.

The last three kicked ass, whereas this flick barely did that for me. It was still fun and scary at times, but other times, felt pretty dull. Good review.
